SPIRITUAL EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE TO IMPROVE SLEEP QUALITY FOR POSTPARTUM MOTHERS

Background: Sleep quality disorders are a problem that postpartum mothers often experience. The is the period after giving birth or commonly called puerperium, which needed to restore uterine organs. Post-partum experience sleep both due new roles and changes during period. not treated properly can bring affect physical psychological problems. Thus, it needs interfere with of post-partum mothers. Objectives: This study aimed prove Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) was also beneficial in improving Methods: used quasi-experimental pre-and post-test design control group. research subjects were 56 at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital Semarang June September 2021, divided into intervention groups. carried out twice week for four weeks, SEFT duration 20 minutes. group received standard therapy form dhikr therapy. Pittsburgh index (PQSI) questionnaire seven assessment components measure outcomes. univariate analysis central tendency mean, median, deviation. different test before by Wilcoxon match pair (abnormal distribution), while paired t-test (normal distribution). For mean difference between groups, Mann Whitney test. Results: score treatment 10,86 + 1,79 (poor quality) decreased significantly (p=0,00) 5,25 1,46 (still poor quality). 10,89 1,89 10,71 2,35 p=0,47. subjective quality, latency, duration, disturbance lower than Conclusion: improve mothers, but still category. Besides, be considerably improved, especially components.
